LOTP LYRIC BOOK

Lament of the Phoenix is more than an album, it is a testimony. A reflection of survival, heartbreak, healing, anger, growth, love, mental battles, and rebirth. Every song in this lyric book represents a different emotion and chapter of my life. Some songs come from pain, some come from peace, and others come from the fire it took to become the version of myself standing today.

The title Lament of the Phoenixsymbolizes grieving the old version of yourself while still finding the strength to rise again. The “lament” represents sorrow, loss, disappointment, trauma, and emotional scars. The “phoenix” represents rebirth, resilience, transformation, and refusing to stay destroyed by life’s hardships. This project lives in the space between those two realities.

These songs are raw, honest, and deeply personal. I speak on betrayal, mental health, heartbreak, self-worth, loneliness, healing, self-love, rage, accountability, and hope. Some records are warnings. Some are prayers. Some are confessions. Some are victories. But all of them are real.

This album also marks my return after taking two years away to focus on my mental health and rebuild myself spiritually, emotionally, and creatively. During that time, I learned that healing is not linear. Some days you rise, and some days you grieve. But every day you continue living is proof that your story is not over.

I want listeners to know they are not alone in what they feel. Whether you are fighting inner demons, recovering from betrayal, learning to love again, or trying to rediscover yourself, there is still purpose for your life.
